National Social Enterprise Manager

Alexis Hyatt, MSW (she/her) is our National Social Enterprise Manager and the program manager of Black Girls Design Camp. She is a Jamaican-American NYC-born artist and community organizer who currently resides in South Florida. Alexis is a graduate of Columbia University where she earned a Masters of Social Work with a focus in programming and child welfare and has previously earned a Bachelors in Sociology and a Certificate in Global Black Studies from Florida International University. Her passion lies in discussing the adultification of Black girls and how the indigenous practices of restorative justice can be used to be culturally responsive to Black youth. She believes that young people are key social change agents in reimagining a more equitable society and enjoys supporting young people to develop action projects with messaging that amplifies the various social issues that impact them and their peers.
