Alicia Abbaspour (she/her) is an Iranian-American cultural worker & arts educator. She believes in the power of radical dreaming toward abolitionist futures. Alicia sees emotional and healing justice as imperative in our liberation struggles and is committed to helping strengthen networks of care through restorative means. Alongside her work at S.O.U.L. Sisters Leadership Collective, Alicia is an ARTE Human Rights and Arts Education Facilitator at Urban Assembly School of Music and Art, where she implements weekly programming that approaches art-making with a human rights framework. She organizes and facilitates community gatherings and reading groups in collaboration with the Library of Study, a New York City-based collective. She is in her final year of her Master’s in Social Work at Columbia University.
