NYC Restorative Justice Fellow

Deja Jones is a native New Yorker. She is a mother as well as a poet who has been featured in many poetry anthologies and performed at Carnegie Hall. Her work in Restorative Justice stems from her actual experience in the foster care system. Being in foster care and seeing all the injustices that took place is what motivates her to be part of real dynamic change that will cultivate a safer more sustainable future.
