Melissa Centeno (she/her) serves as the NYC Restorative Justice Coordinator for S.O.U.L. Sisters. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Psychology modified with African and African American studies. At Dartmouth she co-directed Beyond the Brochures, mobilizing undergraduates around underrepresented student experiences. Prior to S.O.U.L. Sisters, she was the NoVo Foundation Assistant to the Initiative to Advance Adolescent Girls’ Rights and organized with Black Youth Project 100 as its New York City Membership Chair.
