Princess Manuel, LMSW (she/they) serves as the Program Director for the New York City S.O.U.L. Sisters Leadership Collective. Princess has over ten years of community organizing experience in mobilizing systems-involved youth and women. She received a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Ethnic Studies and Sociology from UC Berkeley, followed by a Master’s of Science in Social Work from Columbia University with a focus on the criminal justice system. Princess continues to engage in grassroots community organizing with AF3IRM, healing work as an herbalist/business owner of LUYA Healing and Herbs, and she is a mental health therapist with a decolonization and social justice framework. For collective care, she engages in creating art, playing musical instruments and spending time with Mother Nature.
