We will be attending Black Girls Day at the Capitol. Our main lobby day will be on Thursday, Feb. 27th but the week starts with a mixer on Wednesday night at 7 – 9 pm and there is a Black Girls Brunch on Friday 9 9 am – 12 pm.
Black, Brown, and Indigenous people have a long history of experiencing maltreatment within institutions- including school facilities- because of the differences between them and their white counterparts.
